A week ago, I lost my Ipod Touch at work. At around 5:30PM, I realized that it was gone. The moment of realization was horrible. I started to retrace my steps for the last hour and each part of the store and no matter where I went, the Ipod wasn't there. My next step of action was to go outside to look in and around my car but I found nothing.
It was around 8:30 that I gave up my search and came to the conclusion that I must of dropped it within the store and that a customer of Canals picked it up and left the store with my Ipod Touch. After hours of feeling depressed about losing the Ipod, I started to get my head straight and I kept telling myself there's no point in dwelling about it so I should just move on.
Life without my Ipod Touch is subtly different than the way it used to be. Now, information that I could find online is not at my finger tips every minute of the day. I also can't play video games at work so I'm a bit more focused. My workouts are now silent with just my thoughts counting each repetition after the next. But overall, I'm more focused with whatever is in front of me or in my mind.
Stuff I Use
This blog will be about the stuff I use in my life and the thoughts I have about them.

My Baby Zebra
Not a real zebra, just my car. It's a 98' Toyota Camry with black race stripes on a white body. I bought her 6 months ago for 3,000$ from an old couple my mom knew from her work. I was stoked to find that the car only had 45,000 miles on it. I guess the old lady wasn't lying when she said she only used it to go to the store.
As much as I love her, the zebra needs maintenance every once in a while just like any car. However, it cost a lot of money to get something replaced. Just a month or two ago, I had to get the water pump and timing belt replaced for 500$. I would have done it myself but it was too much work. Before this winter, I need to replace the two back tires which will probably set me back 200$ and buy those chain boot things for each tire. Last winter was the worst I can remember with a car. At the time I was using the van that my parents let me use. It had really bad tires. So bad, that apparently the steel wiring was showing.
And then a week ago or so, I had the thought, would using a horse and wagon be easier or cheaper to maintain? I'm pretty sure I could fix any problem on a wagon but the horse will be something I'd have to maintain everyday.

My Ipod Touch 2 Gen
A year ago while working for Best Buy, I bought myself an iPod Touch and it has been apart of my life ever since.
After explaining the benefits and selling tons of the iPod touch to customers at Best Buy, I finally realized I too should buy it. Besides having my favorite bands to listen to no matter where I am, I can take notes at school, read the latest news on the New York Times, play a game or two when I'm at work, convert units of measurement, use the calculator, and so on.
If for some reason, I didn't have my iPod touch I wouldn't be able to do the things I do daily the same way. Converting units of measurement would be impossible because I don't know how to convert most measurements simply because I always forget the formulas. I would also have to carry a notebook to class which would mean that I would have more stuff with me.
My next topic will be about my car.
